Recording Guidelines and Conventions

These may be subject to change. If they ever do, I will post alerting to the change and expect that you will check to make sure you are up to date on current recording and file expectations.

• Edit your file as little as possible. Don't add effects, don't change the timing.
• Start recording at the beginning, stop recording after your last line.
• Sing things that are in the lyrics. Do not sing things that are not in the lyrics.
• Do harmonies that are in the lyrics. Ask for a guide if you need one. Do not sing harmonies that are not coded in the lyrics.
• Please name files song_yourname so I can easily keep track of them in my folder!
• .mp3 is preferred foremost; I will accept wav, ogg, etc.
